Promethea Notes & Annotations -- Eroom Nala's excellent reference site for this complex and magickal series.

Maze of Death -- Home to my favorite strip that began in UT's Daily Texan, Mike Woodson's Irritability.

Comic Book Legal Defense Fund -- Organization to prevent censorship of comics and graphic novels and to promote comics as a legitimate and developing art form.

electric sheep comix -- Patrick Farley makes me laugh. Home of a number of uniquely satirical web comix, including "Rush Limbaugh Eats Everything" and "Apocamon."

My friendly neighborhood comic shop in Austin, Texas was Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy. I like it when their cat sits on my shoulders. When I moved, they kindly referred me to Comicopia in Boston, where the owner always greets me by name.

Also check out the sites for some of my favorite independent series, Thieves and Kings, Strangehaven, and Castle Waiting.
