Christine Hoff Kraemer is a religious studies scholar specializing in contemporary Paganism, sexuality, theology, and popular culture. In 2006, she was honored to receive a Media, Religion, and Culture Fellowship from the University of Colorado (School of Journalism and Mass Communication), which supported the completion of her doctoral project "The Erotic Fringe: Sexual Minorities and Religion in Contemporary American Literature and Film" at Boston University in 2008.

Also in 2008, Christine co-organized an academic conference on religion and comics at Boston University with colleague A. David Lewis. From the proceedings, Kraemer and Lewis co-edited Graven Images: Religion in Comics Books and Graphic Novels (Continuum), which was published in 2010.

Christine is an instructor in the Theology and Religious History department at Cherry Hill Seminary, where she served as department chair from 2010-2012. She formerly blogged at Dowsing for Divinity/Sermons from the Mound, one of the many blogs on the Patheos Pagan channel, for which she was Managing Editor from 2012-2015. Her book projects include Seeking the Mystery: An Introduction to Pagan Theologies (Patheos Press, 2012); a book of Pagan erotic theology, Eros and Touch from a Pagan Perspective: Divided for Love's Sake (Routledge, 2013); and an anthology co-edited with Yvonne Aburrow, Pagan Consent Culture: Building Communities of Autonomy and Empathy.
